You add the three sides and equate them to the perimeter. Let the third side be x:

17/6+17/6+x=43/4
34/6+x=43/4
hence x is 43/4-34/6
We take the LCM and get,
(43-34)/24=9/24= 3/8
Therefore the third side is 3/8 cm
I hope this helps

Answer :-

\boxed{\boxed{\dfrac{25}{4}}}

Explanation :-

Given,

Perimeter of an Isosceles triangle = 43/4 cm

One Side measures = 9/4 cm

To Find,

Other Side measure

Solution :-

Let the third side be x.

∴ x + 9/4 + 9/4 = 43/4

⇒ x + 18/4 = 43/4

⇒ x = 43/4 - 18/4

⇒ x = 25/4
