Solutions :-

Given :
Perimeter of isoceles triangle = 50 m
Base = b = 24 m

Find the length of equal side (a) of an isoceles triangle :-

We know that,
Perimeter of triangle = a + b + a
=> 50 = 2a + 24
=> 50 - 24 = 2a
=> 26/2 = a = 13

Find the height (h) of the isoceles triangle :-

(b/2)² + h² = a²
=> (24/2)² + h² = (13)²
=> (12)² + h² = 169
=> h² = 169 - 144
=> h = √25 = 5

Find the area of isoceles triangle :-

Area of isoceles triangle = (b × h)/2 sq. units
= (24 × 5)/2 cm²
= 120/2 cm²
= 60 cm²

Hence,
Area of isoceles triangle = 60 cm²
