Answer:

let the first side be X

it is an isosceles triangle so the second side will also be X

base=X+15

perimeter of a triangle=sum of all sides

=75=X+X+X+15

=75=3x+15

=75-15=3x

=60=3x

=20=X

first side=X=20

second side=X=20

third side=X+15=20+15

=35

\boxed {\boxed {\large {\mathbb {Solution:}}}}

Given,

Base = 15 + one side

Perimeter = 75 cm

Now,

Let the unknown side be x

So,

Other side will be x ( Isosceles Triangle ).

Perimeter of Triangle = Sum of all sides of triangle.

(15 + x) + x + x = 75

➡ 15 + 3x = 75

➡ 3x = 75 - 15

➡ 3x = 60

➡ x= \dfrac {60}{3}

•°• \boxed {\large {\underline{\underline {x = 20}}}}

______

♦ Two equal sides of isosceles triangle :

20 cm and 20 cm, unequal side : 15 + 20 = 35 cm
