Given :-

Perimeter of triangle = 43/4

one side of triangle = 9/4

Let the traingle is ABC

We know that in isosceles triangle 2 sides are equal.

Perimeter = AB + BC + CA

43/4 =  9/4 + BC + 9/4

43/4 = 18/4 + BC            (AB = CA)

43/4 - 18/4 = BC

25/4 = BC

BC = 25/4    (Answer)

So, The third side of triangle is 25/4.

kashishjoshipura: there can be two cases
kashishjoshipura: first either two sides are equal of length 9/4
kashishjoshipura: the other case 2 is what u answered

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Perimeter of triangle = 43/4

one side of triangle = 9/4

Let the traingle is ABC

We know that in isosceles triangle 2 sides are equal.

Perimeter = AB + BC + CA

43/4 =  9/4 + BC + 9/4

43/4 = 18/4 + BC            (AB = CA)

43/4 - 18/4 = BC

25/4 = BC

BC = 25/4    (Answer)

So, The third side of triangle is 25/4.
