Answer:

Given that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 218/15 m

2 ( L + B ) = 218/15

2 ( 14/3 + X ) = 218/15

14/3 + X = 218/15 × 2

14 + 3X/3 = 109/15

15 ( 14 + 3X) = 109 × 3

210 + 45X = 327

45X = 327 - 210

45X = 117

X = 117/45 = 39/15 = 13/5

Hence,

Breadth of rectangle = X = 13/5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of the recta

rectangle =14×8/15

2(l+b)=78/5

2(42/3+b=78/5

2(14/3+b)= 78/5

28/3+2b=78/5

2b=78/5-28/3

2b=234-140/15

b=84/15×2=b47/15

b=3 2/15

are of the rectangle =l×b

(42/3)×3 2/15

14/3×47/15

658/45

4 28/45 cm ²
