The perimeter of certain sector of a cirlce of radius 6.5 cm is 31 cm. Find the area of sector

Answer:

length of arc=perimeter-2 radius

=31-13 = 18cm

18=x2πr/360

18=Xx2x22x6.5/360x7

x = 18x360x7/2x22x6.5=158.6 degree

Area of Sector = Xxπr 2/360

= 158.6x22x6.5^2/360x7=58.50cm2
