Answer:

Given that,

Circumference of a circle of radius r

»» 2πr = π

»» r = 1/2

Area of circle of radius r = πr²

Area of circle of radius 1/2

»» π (1/2)² = π/4

hope it helps you.

Here we have to find the area of the circle

We are given that the perimeter of the circle is  π cm

We will use this information to find out the radius of the circle

Perimeter of circle = 2πr

                           π = 2πr

                            r = 1/2

Now, we know the radius of the circle, so we will apply the formula of the area of the circle

Area of circle = πr²

                       = 3.14 × 1/2 × 1/2

                       = 0.785 cm²

Hence, the area of the circle will be 0.785 cm².
