then x+x+x=12

3x=12

x=4cm

Area of equilateral triangle =

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4?} s \times s

so that here s= 4cm

then area will be

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4 }  \times  {4}^{2}

 \sqrt{3}  \times 4

4 \sqrt{3}
