Here is your answer,

=========================================

Side of the cube = 40/4

                            = 10 cm

Volume = 10 * 10 * 10

              = 1000 cm cube units.

========================================

HOPE THIS HELPS YOUU :)

AND STAY BLESSED.

VinamraRathi: but how the 40\4 come?
Vamprixussa: Because perimeter is 40, therefore each side is divided by 4 as a square has 4 equal sides
Vamprixussa: the surface area of one side of a cube is a square
VinamraRathi: thank u
Vamprixussa: welcome mate :)

perimeter \: of \: one \: face \: of \: cube = sum \: of \: all \: sides \\ 40cm = side + side + side + side \\ 40cm \: = 4side \\ side = \frac{40}{4 } = 10cm \\ volume \: of \: cube = {s}^{3 } \\ = 10 \times 10 \times 10 \times = 1000 {cm}^{3}
