The perimeter of one square is 24cm.and that of another is 32cm.Find the perimeter of a third square whose area is equal to the former two squares.

perimeter of square A=24
4×side=24
side of square A=6

Area if square A=36cm^3

perimeter of sq. B=32
side of sq. B=8

area of sq. B=8×8=64cm^3

area of square C=64+36
(side)^2=100
side=10

now perimeter of square C=4×side
perimeter=4+10=40 ans.

area of 1st square = 36
area of 2nd square =64
therefore, area of 3rd square = 36+64= 100
side square =100
therefore side =10
therefore perimeter =40
