let the other side of parallelogram be 'x'cm

one side = (x + 50)cm.

perimeter of parallelogram= 300cm

2([x + (x + 50 ) ] = 300

2( 2x + 50) = 300

4x + 100 = 300

4x = 200 => x = 50cm

one side = x + 50 = 50 + 50 = 100cm

opposite sides of parallelogram are equal,

thus , other sides will be 50cm, 100cm

Answer:
-------------

all the four sides of parallelogram are 50cm,100cm, 50cm, 100cm

Given,

Perimeter of parallelogram is 300 cm

One of its sides is greater than the other by 50 cm

To find,

Length of all the sides of the parallelogram

Solution,

In parallelogram opposite sides are equal.

Let one of the sides of the parallelogram be x cm.

Then the other side of the parallelogram is greater than the other by 50 cm

will be (x+50) cm.

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 2(a+b)

a and b being the length of the sides of a parallelogram.

Here a = x and b = (x+50)

2(x+x+50) = 300

2(2x+50) = 300

2x + 50 = 150

2x = 100

x = 50

The value of x = 50.

x+50 = 50 + 50 = 100

Hence, values of the sides of a parallelogram are 50 cm and 100 cm.
