The perimeter of PQR, an isosceles triangle is 17 cm. Given that PQ = QR and QR measures
1 cm less than PR. Find the length of PR in

PQ=QR=X cm

now..

PR=X-1

therefore according to the question..

perimeter of the triangle is 17cm..

x + x + (x  - 1) = 17 \\  \\  =  > 3x = 18 \\  =  > x = 6

therefore....PR=6-1=5cm
