Hi
Lenght = 12cm
Breadth = 4cm

So, Perimeter = 2(l+b)
= 2 (12+4) = 32

So, the side of the square = 32/4 = 8cm
So, the area of the square = 8×8 = 64cm^2

I hope this will help you.

Length of rectangle = 12 m

Breadth of rectangle = 4 m

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 12 + 4 )

= 2 x 16

= 32 sq.m.

Perimeter of square = 4 x side

32 = 4 x side

side = 32 / 4

side of square = 8 m.

Area of square = side ^2

= ( 8 )^2

= 64 sq.m.

Area of square is 64 sq.m.
