Perimeter of rectangle = 12*9 = 108 cm

On making it as a square, perimeter will remain the same. Thus, perimeter of square = 108 cm.

But, perimeter of square = 4*side.

Thus, side = 108/4 = 27 cm

= 108 units

If, when rebent in the shape of Square

Then,

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of Square

4(side) = 108 \\ \\ side = \frac{108}{4} \\ \\ = 27 \: units
Therefore, The side of Square is 27 units.
