the perimeter of rectangle is 13cm and it's width is 2 3/4 Find it's length

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

width = 2¾

equation = 13 = 2(x + 2¾)

13 = 2x + 5½

13 - 5½ = 2x

7½ = 2x

7½/2 = x

3¾ = x or x= 3¾
