let the the breadth be X m

then length =X+16m

perimeter of the rectangle =200m

according to the problem,

200=2(X+X+16)

200=2(2x+16)

200=4x+32

200-32=4x

168=4x

168/4=x

X=42.

therefore the length of the rectangle is 42+16=58m,

the breadth of the rectangle is 42m.

hope helpss

Answer:

Side one: 42m

Side two: 58m

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter if rectangle= 2(length+breadth)=200m

                                   =2[x+(x+16)]=200m

=2(2x+16)=200m

=4x+32=200m

=4x=200-32m

=4x=168m

x=168/4

x=42

therefore x+16= 58
