Answer:

let be the length and breadth no. be = 5x and 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( L +B ) = 28

Then, 2(5x + 2x) = 28

10x + 4x = 28

14 x 4 = 28

x = 28 / 14

x = 2

put the value of x

L = 5× 2 = 10 and B = 2 ×2 = 4

Area of rectangle = ( L × B ) = 10 × 4 = 40 sq. km

Let length=5x

and breadth=2x

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

28m =2(5x+2x)

28m/2 =7x

14m/7 = x

x =2m

Length= 5x

=5×2m=10m

Breadth=2x

=2×2m

=4m

Area of rectangle=lb

=10m×4m

=40m^2
