Perimeter=2 [ l(lenght) +b(breadth) ]

30 = 2 (l+b)

30/2= l+b

l+b=15

now it is given that length exceeds the breadth

so, b= l + 3

putting this value of 'b' in the first equation,

l + (l+3)= 15

l + l + 3=15

2l + 3 = 15. (here it is not twenty one..it is two l)

2l= 15-3

2l= 12

l= 12/2

l=6 metre

Hope it helps you..if it does then pls mark the brainliest..
