Solution :

In this question, Perimeter of Rectangle and Length of Rectangle are given and we have to find the area of the rectangle. We know that Area of Rectangle is given by Length × Breadth. So firstly we will find the breadth of the rectangle after that we will find the area of the rectangle.

Finding the Breadth of the Rectangle :

• Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)
• 30 = 2(8 + Breadth)
• 30/2 = 8 + Breadth
• 15 = 8 + Breadth
• 15 - 8 = Breadth
• 7cm = Breadth

Hence, Breadth of the Rectangle is 7cm

Finding the Area of the Rectangle :

• Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth
• Area of Rectangle = 8 × 7
• Area of Rectangle = 56cm²

Therefore :

• Area of the Rectangle is 56cm²
