So, → Length will be (x+4)

→Substitute the Given value in Equation Formula!→

→Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l+b)→

→ 40 = 2[(x+4)+(x)]

→ 40 = 2[2x+4]

→ 40 = 4x+8

→ 40-8 = 4x

→ 32 = 4x

Therefore, Length be (x+4) = 8+4 =) 12 metres
Breadth be 8→
