The perimeter of rectangular floor is 162 m. If the length is 3m

more than twice its breadth. What is the length and breadth of floor?​

Formula of perimeter of a rectangle = 2( l + b )

2( l + b ) = 162

b = x

then l = 2x + 3

2 ( 2x+3 + x)= 6x + 3

6x + 3 = 162

x+ 3 = 162÷6

x = 27- 3 = 24

l = 51m b= 24m
