perimeter= 2(L+B)

180=2(50+B)

180=100+2B

2B= 180-100

2B=80

B=80÷2

B=40

Breath=40

  • Perimeter of hall is 180 units
  • Length of hall is 50 units

⟹ We have to find Breadth of hall.

For it we have formula :-

\Large \implies {\boxed{\boxed{\green{\tt{Perimeter \: = \: 2(L \: + \: B) }}}}}

Where,

L is length

B is Breadth

Putting Values,

→ 180 = 2(50 + B)

→ 180/2 = 50 + B

→ 90 = 50 + B

→ B = 90 - 50

→ B = 40

\Large{\boxed{\red{\sf{Breadth \: = \: 40 \: units}}}}

• Rectangle is a 2-D shape with consisting of length and breadth.

• It's all side are at 90° .

• Diagnols are equal in rectangle.

• Area of rectangle = L × B
