Given,
perimeter of a rectangular swimming pool is = 154
length of a rectangular swimming pool is = 2x+2
breadth of a rectangular swimming pool is = x
perimeter of a rectangular swimming pool is = 154
2(l+b)=154
2(2x+2+x)=154
2(3x+2)=154
3x+2=77
3x=75
x=25
therefore length and breadth of a rectangular swimming pool are 52cm and 25cm respectively.
area of a rectangular swimming pool is = l×b
52×25= 1300m^2
therefore area of a rectangular swimming pool is 1300m^2

Let the breadth be x m
Length=(2x+2)m
Perimeter of the rectangular swimming pool=154 m
2(l+b)=154
2(2x+2+x)=154
2(3x+2)=154
6x+4=154
6x=154-4
6x=150
x=150/6
x=25
Breadth=x=25 m
Length=(2x+2)=(2(25)+2)m=(50+2)=52 m
Area of the rectangular swimming pool=lb=52m×25m=1300 sq.m
