in this case,we can't find anything unless u give any supplement, either give another diagonal to find area or give area to find other diagonal
formula is -1/2×d1×d2 where d1 and d2 are length of diagonals

We know that each side of rhombus are equal
So measure of each side =5cm
Let the diagonal be the base of triangle
Area of triangle =root(s)(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
s=(a+b+c)/2
s=(5+5+8)/2
S=18/2=9
Area of first triangle =root(9)(9-5)(9-5)(9-8)
=root9*4*4*1
=3*4
=12cm^2
Area of second triangle=area of first triangle(because the dimensions are same)

So area of rhombus=2*area of first triangle
=2*12
=24cm^2
