Plz refers to the attachments

 \bold{Given : }

  • Perimeter of rhombus,P = 40 cm

  • One of its diagonal,d1 = 16 cm

 \bold{To \:  find \:  out  : }

Find the area of given rhombus?

 \bold{Formula  \: used  : }

★Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × Side

★Area of rhombus = Base × Height

 \bold{Solution : }

We know that,

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × side

➠ 40 = 4 × side

➠ Side = 40/4

➠ Side = 10 cm

By pythagoras therome,

BC² = BD² - CD²

BC² = (16)² - (10)²

BC² = 256 - 100

BC² = 156

BC = 2√39 cm

Now,

Area of rhombus = Base × Height

= 10 × 2√39

= 20√39 cm²

Hence, the area of given rhombus is 2039 cm.
