2and 3
because the square of 2 and 3 is 4 and 9 respectively.
so,4+9=13

Hey Mate

your answer is ---

Let , the two sides be a and b

so, a+b+13 =30

=> a+b = 30-13

=> a+b = 17

=> a = 17-b ...(1)

Now, according to Pythagoras theorem

a^2+b^2 = 13^2

=> (17-b)^2+b^2 = 169

=> 289 + b^2 - 34b + b^2 = 169

=> 2b^2 -34b + 120 = 0

use quadratic formula to solve for b

x = 34 ± √34^2 -4×2×120/4

b = 5 , 12

when , put 5 in equ(1) , we get

a = 17-5

=> a =12

when we put 12 in equ (1), we get

a = 17-12

=> a = 5

Hence, the two sides are 5cm and 12cm
