b = 29.5 and l = 59... Take the breadth as x and then solve
Thanks!

mantrihimavamshi: Can you say formula
mantrihimavamshi: Plz
KillerLogic: the perimeter of rectangle(school ground) = 2xLength + 2xbreadth
KillerLogic: so when you put the values
KillerLogic: you get this... Perimeter of Rectangle = 2x(2X) + 2x(X) = 4X + 2X = 6X....
KillerLogic: and then you have to substitute the value of the perimeter... i.e. 177 = 6X.... then X = 177 divided by 6... which comes to 29.5feet.. that means.. the value of X = 29.5 feet... Now that we have taken the value of breadth = X... and we know the value of X (which is 29.5) you get value of breadth = 29.5.... It is said that length is twice the breadt then length = 2x(29.5) = 59 feet
mantrihimavamshi: Thanks
