Perimeter of semicircle=2r + π r

( The question is telling us perimeter not the circumference. Both terms are totally different.)

Perimeter=108 cm

So, r(2+π)=108

r(2+22/7)=108

r* 36/7 =108

r=108 * 7 /36

r=21 cm

Area of semicircle=  π r^2/2

22/7 * 21*21/2

= 22 * 3 *21 /2

=11 * 3 * 21

= 693 cm^2

Answer- The area of semicircle is 693 cm^2.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter=108 cm

So, r(2+π)=108

r(2+22/7)=108

r* 36/7 =108

r=108 * 7 /36

r=21 cm

Area of semicircle=  π r^2/2

22/7 * 21*21/2

= 22 * 3 *21 /2

=11 * 3 * 21

= 693 cm^2
