Given side of square = 36 metre.

=> Perimeter of square = 4 × side

=> P = 4 × 36

=> P = 144 metre.

Given the perimeter of the square and the rectangle is same.

=> Perimeter of rectangle = 144 metre.

Given breadth = 32 metres
Let the length be l

=> Perimeter = 2(l + b)

=> 2(l + 32) = 144

=> l + 32 = 144/2

=> l + 32 = 72

=> l = 72 - 32

=> l = 40 metre

So the area of square = side × side

=> 36 × 36

= 1296 m²

And area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

=> 32 × 40

= 1280 m²

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️

<b><i>Square :

Side = 36 m

Rectangle :

Breadth = 32 m

A/q

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

4 × side = 2(Breadth + Length)

4 × 36 = 2(32 + Length)

144 = 2(32 + Length)

72 = 32 + Length

Length = 40 m

Now,

Area of Rectangle -

= Length × Breadth

= 32 × 40

\huge\mathsf\red{\boxed{1280 \ m^2}}

Area of square -

= (Side)²

= (36)²

\huge\mathsf\red{\boxed{1296 \ m^2}}
