 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

Area of the square = 36 cm² (Given)

Find the length of the square:

Area = length²

length² = Area

length² = 36

length = √36

length = 6 cm

Find the perimeter of the square:

Perimeter = 4 x 6 = 24 cm

Find the perimeter of the rectangle:

Perimeter of the rectangle = Perimeter of the square

Perimeter of the rectangle = 24 cm

Define the length and breadth of the rectangle:

Let the breadth be x

The length is 2x

Form the equation:

Perimeter = 2(Length + breadth)

24 = 2( 2x + x)

24 = 2(3x)

24 = 6x

6x = 24

x = 4

Find the length and breadth of the rectangle:

breadth = x = 4 cm

length - 2x = 2(4) = 8 cm

Answer: The dimension of the rectangle is 4 cm by 8 cm
