The perimeter of square is 40 cm. A rectangle of length 80 cm has the same area as that of square. Find the breadth of rectangle.

Let's consider the breadth of the rectangle to be x

we know that in a square all the sides are equal

Therefore the side of the square equals to 10cm

The area of square =10×10=100

Therefore area of rectangle =100

80×x=100

X=5/4
