Perimeter = 800

4× side = 4 × 200

side = 200 cm

Hence, we know,

Diagonal = a√2

Diagonals = 200√2 cm

.

Find the length of a side = 800 ÷ 4 = 200

Pythagoras' theorem : a² + b² = c²

Find the diagonal:

a² + b² = c²

200² + 200² = c²

c² = 80 000

c = √80 000

c = 200√2 or 282.84 cm (nearest hundredth)

Answer: 282.84 cm
