☆Answer☆

Given:-

  • Perimeter of spuare is equal to that of rectangle.
  • Dimension of rectangle is 15cm × 13cm

Solution:-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 2(15+13) cm

=> 2×28 cm

=> 56 cm

Now,

Perimeter of square = 56 cm

4×side = 56 cm

side = 56/4

side = 14 cm

We have to find the areas of both square and rectangle.

Area of rectangle = l×b

=> (15×13) cm²

=> 195 cm²

Area of square = side²

=> (14)² cm²

=> 196 cm²

Thus, Square has the larger area.
