the perimeter of the floor of the room is 30 and the height of the room is 1/10th of it's perimeter.find the area of the four walls of the room​

now the formula used for finding surface are of walls is 2h(1+b)

here you can clearly see there is 2(l+b) when you remove h.so the procedure is as follows

perimeter=2(l+b)

=30 m(already given)

height=3m(also given)

therefore,

2h(l+b)

or can be written as 2(l+b)h

which is 30×3 m

=90m square

therefore the area of wall of room is 90 m ^2.

height=3

x+y=15

for square x=y

x=15/2

area=h×x

a=15/2×3

a=22.5

for 4 walls area =4×22. 5=90
