The perimeter of the ground a rectangular badminton ground is 44 m and the length of the ground is 6 m more than the breath. Find the dimensions of the ground

Perimeter = 44 m

Length = x + 6 m

Breadth = x

Perimeter = 2 (length + breadth)

44 m = 2 (x + x + 6)

44 m = 2x + 2x + 12

44 m = 4x + 12

4x = 44 - 12

x = \frac{32}{4}

x = 8\ m

Thus,

Breadth = 8 m

Length = (8 + 6)m = 14 m
