rahul32rk96: perimeters of rectangle are 2(l+b).. by this formula we can get the answer 72 unit sq..
rahul32rk96: so. the area is l x b...20 x 16=320 .

area of rectangle A= L*b = 36 cm sq.

area of square = area of rectangle = 36 cm sq.

area of square = l*l = 36 cmm sq.

l= 6 cm

length of sides of square= 6 cm.

candy1414: sure
devcybercafe1: but answer is 324sqcm
sanjay270899: You have by mistake tell them to find the area of the rectangle. But we have to find the area of the square. 2(20+16)= 4 L , L = 18 , Area = L L = 324 sqcm.
devcybercafe1: your answer is right but sir send clearly
sanjay270899: The perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) and perimeter of the square = 4 L. Both are equal. 2(l+b) = 4 L. Putting values for finding L . We get, 2(20+16)= 4 L . Therefore L = 18 cm. We have found the length of the square. Area of the square will be (18)^2 = 324 sq cm
devcybercafe1: thanks sir
