➡ Given :-

→ Length of rectangle ( l ) = 10 cm.

→ Breadth of rectangle ( b ) = 8 cm.

→ Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square.

➡ To find :-

→ Area of square.

▶ Solution :-

°•° Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) .

= 2 ( 10 + 8 ) .

= 2 × 18 .

= 36 cm.

▶Now,

→ Perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square.

°•° Perimeter of square = 4 × side .

=> 36 = 4 × side .

=> Side = 36/4 .

•°• Side = 9 cm .

▶ Now,

°•° Area of square = Side × Side .

= 9 × 9 .

 \huge \pink{ \boxed{ \boxed{ = 81 {cm}^{2}  \: .}}}

✔✔ Hence, it is solved ✅✅.

Given:

Dimensions of rectangle = 10 cm and 8 cm

And the perimeter of the rectangle and square are equal.

To Find :

Area of the square.

Solution :

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(Length+Breadth)

= 2(10+8) = 2(18) = 36 cm

Now it is given that the perimeter of the rectangle and square are equal so ,

4(Side) = 36 cm

Side = 36/4 = 9 cm.

Then,

Area of the square =

Side² = 9² = 9×9 = 81 cm² .

{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \boxed{ { \red{\huge{81 \: {cm}^{2} }}}}}}}}}}}}}
