Answer:

L = B+6. Now 2(B+B+6) = 128, or

2B+6 = 64, or

2B = 64–6 = 58, so

B = 58/2 = 29 m and L = 35 m.

Check: 2(35+29) = 2*64 = 128 m. Correct.

The length = 35 m and the breadth = 29 m.

Answer:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 128 m

Let the breadth = x m

Length = 4 + 5x

B/c,

=> P = 2( L + B )

=> 128 = 2 (4 + 5x + x)

=> 128/2 = 4 + 6x

=> 64= 4+ 6x

=> 6x=60

=> x = 60/6

=> x = 10m

Length = 4 + 5(10)

= 4 + 50

= 54 m

Breadth = 10m
