Answer:

p=350

2(l+b)

2(l+b)=P

2×(120+x)=350

120+x=350/2

x=175-120

x=55

120×55

6600cm²

GiveN :-

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 350 cm

  • Length of rectangle = 120 cm

To FinD :-

  • Area of the rectangle

SolutioN :-

Firstly we have to find breadth of rectangle

 \large \longrightarrow\sf Perimeter _{rectangle} = 2(L+B) \\  \\\longrightarrow\sf350 =  2(120 + B) \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf120 + B = 175 \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf B = 175 - 120 \\  \\ \longrightarrow\sf B = 55

Breadth of rectangle is 55 cm , now

\large \longrightarrow \sf Area_{rectangle} = L \times B \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Area_{rectangle} = 120 \times 55 \\  \\\longrightarrow  \boxed{ \blue{\sf Area_{rectangle} = 6600 \:  {cm}^{2}}}
