Answer:

2(length+breadth)=28

l+b=28/2

l+b=14

(l+b)*2=l*2+b*2+2lb

(14)*2=l*2+b*2+48×2

196-96=l*2+b*2

l*2+b*2=100

√l*2+√b*2=10

Diagonal=10cm.

hope it will help you ✌️✌️

Given

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 28m
  • Area of rectangle = 48m²

To find

  • Diagonal of rectangle

Solution

Perimeter of rectangle = 28m

2( length + breadth ) = 28m

length + breadth = 14 m

Area of Rectangle = 48m

Length × breadth = 48m

(Length+ breadth)² = (48m)²

Length ² + breadth² + 2(l)(b) = 196m²

Length² + breadth² + 48 = 196m²

Length + breadth = 100

From Pythagoras theorem,

(Diagonal)² = (length)² + (breadth)²

Diagonal = √(length² +breadth² )

Diagonal = √100m

Diagonal = 10m

∴ Length of the diagonal is 10m.
