Answer:

given ,

perimeter of the triangle = 54 cm

let the sides be 5x , 6x and 7x

therefore perimeter of the triangle= sum of sides

= 54 = 5x + 6x +7x

= 54 = 18 x

= x = 54/18

= x = 3

put x = 3 in 5x ,6x ,7x

5x = 5 × 3 = 15

6x = 6 × 3 = 18

7x = 7 × 3 = 21

Now , semi perimeter = 54/ 2 = 27

let a = 15

b= 18

c= 21

Area of the triangle = √ s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

= √27 (27- 15) (27-18) (27-21)

= √27 × 12 × 9 × 6

= √ 17,496

= 132.27

hope it helped
