Step-by-step explanation:

let the common multiple be X

2x+3x+4x =80

9x =80

x=80/9

X=8.888m

2x=8.88×2 =17.76m

3x=8.88×3=26.64m

4x=8.88×4=35.52m

Given :-

  • The perimeter of the triangle is 80m
  • Sides of the triangle in the ratio 2:3:4

To find :-

  • Length of each sides of triangle

Solution :-

Let the side of triangle be x

Perimeter of triangle = 80

2x + 3x + 4x = 80

9x = 80

x = 80/9

x = 8.8cm

Hence,

  • Sides of triangle
  • 2x = 2*8.8 = 17.6 cm
  • 3x = 3*8.8 = 26.4 cm
  • 4x = 4*8.8 = 35.2 cm

Additional Information

  • Area of rectangle = length × breadth
  • Area of square = side × side
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)
