The perimeter of Tinas bedroom is 24 meters. There is a rug in her room. Its area is half the size of the bedroom. What is the area and the perimeter of the rug?

length if onr side of Tina's room=24/4=6 metres
If Tina's room is Square then its area is= Side × Side=6 × 6 = 36 metre square
Area of rug if its half of the area of the entire room = 36/2=18 metre square
