the perimeter of trapezium is 120 m if bc = 48 m, cd = 17 m and ad=40 m find the area of this field. it is given that side ab is perpendicular to parallel sides ad and bc .

p=sum of all side=120
let fourth side be x
48+40+17+x=120
x=an=120-105=15m
area of trapezium=1÷2(sum of || side) ×h
=1÷2×88×15
= 660 m square
