The perimeter of triangle is 30 cm if its two sides are 12 cm and 11cm long then find the length of its third side

in this question, there is nothing about the triangle means that is neither isosceles nor equilateral. so,

measure of 1st side = 12cm

measure of 2nd side = 11cm

3rd side = x

perimeter = 30cm

》 sum of all three sides = perimeter

》 12cm + 11cm + x = 30cm

》 23cm + x = 30cm

》 x = 30cm - 23cm

= 7cm

$\hence$ the value of 3rd side is 7cm .
