Solution :

Let a , b and c are three sides of a

triangle .

a = x - 8 ,

b = 3x + 3 ,

third side = c ,

perimeter of the triangle = 8x - 10

=> a + b + c = 8x - 10

=> x - 8 + 3x + 3 + c = 8x - 10

=> 4x - 5 + c = 8x - 10

=> c = 8x - 10 - 4x + 5

=> c = 4x - 5

Therefore ,

Third side = c = 4x - 5
