◉ Perimeter of the triangular field = 270 m

◉ It's sides are in the ratio 25 : 17 : 12

Tσ ƒíη∂ :

◈ Area of the triangular field

Sσlutiση :

Let,

The sides be 25m, 17m, 12m

Perimeter of the field = 270m (Given)

25m + 17m + 12m = 270

54m = 270

m = 270/54

m = 5

The three sides of the field :

25m = 25 × 5 = 125m

17m = 17 × 5 = 85m

12m = 12 × 5 = 60m

Finding the semi perimeter :

Semi perimeter = Perimeter/2

Semi perimeter = 270/2

Semi perimeter = 135

We Know That,

ᐃ Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

ᐃArea = √135(135-125)(135-85)(135-60)

ᐃ Area = √135×10×50×75

ᐃ Area = √5,062,500

ᐃ Area = 2250

Hence, Area of triangular field = 2250 m
