◉ Perimeter of the triangular field = 270 m
◉ It's sides are in the ratio 25 : 17 : 12
Tσ ƒíη∂ :
◈ Area of the triangular field
Sσlutiση :
Let,
↣ The sides be 25m, 17m, 12m
↣ Perimeter of the field = 270m (Given)
⇒ 25m + 17m + 12m = 270
⇒ 54m = 270
⇒ m = 270/54
⇒ m = 5
☢ The three sides of the field :
↠ 25m = 25 × 5 = 125m
↠ 17m = 17 × 5 = 85m
↠ 12m = 12 × 5 = 60m
☯ Finding the semi perimeter :
↦ Semi perimeter = Perimeter/2
↦ Semi perimeter = 270/2
↦ Semi perimeter = 135
⚘ We Know That,
↬ ᐃ Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
↬ ᐃArea = √135(135-125)(135-85)(135-60)
↬ ᐃ Area = √135×10×50×75
↬ ᐃ Area = √5,062,500
↬ ᐃ Area = 2250
✒ Hence, Area of triangular field = 2250 m
