The perimeter of two similar triangle are 12cm and 72cm .if the areof smaller is 6cm sq ,find the area of bigger triangle.

I.e, P of smaller ∆ ×6 = P of bigger ∆

Area of smaller ∆ is 6 cm²

Therefore,

Area of bigger ∆ will be

Area of smaller ∆ × 6 = Area of bigger ∆

6cm² × 6 = Area of bigger ∆

Area of bigger ∆ = 36 cm²
