ratio of the perimeter of 2 similar triangles = ratio of corresponding sides
25÷ 15 = 9 ÷ side
side = 9 × 15 ÷ 25
=5.4

We are given that

AB= 9, per(∆ABC)=25, per(∆DEF)=15

Make a ∆ABC and ∆DEF

Such that AB is corresponding DE

PER(∆ABC)/PER(∆DEF)=AB/DE+BC/EF+AC/DF _this is the property

Now, per(∆ABC)/per(∆DEF)=AB/DE

We get 25/15=9/DE

25DE=9×15

DE=135/25

=5.4(ANS)
