Let side of Triangle ‘b’ = x
⇒ 3(8) = 24
⇒ 3x = 18
x = 18/3
x = 6 cm
The side of Triangle ‘b’ = 6 cm

Then, AB+BC+CA=24
And FD+DE+EF=18
But both triangle are similar
Then
FDAB=Perimeter of DEFPerimeter of ABC
⇒FD8=1824
⇒24(FD)=8×18
⇒FD=24144=6 cm
